BAMSA Night 2008

Yesterday, the Bath Area Malaysian & Singaporean Association (BAMSA) had their BAMSA Night - ‘The Legend of Mahsuri’. It was quite fun! Full of acting, singing and dancing. *grins* For the uninformed, ‘the Legend of Mahsuri’ is a very famous legend in Langkawi. It’s about a young woman (named Mahsuri obviously) who was accused of adultery, but was actually innocent. When they punished her by stabbing her, she cursed Langkawi to have seven generations of bad luck. Here are some photos of the night…
